No rule to make target depend 是什么错误呢

大家好,今天编译u-boot,在命令行下输入make 生成 .bin 文件时,会提示 No rule to make target `.depend', 这是什么原因呢?该怎么解决.我用开发板自带的 u-boot-1.1.6_20100601 就可以生成 bin文件,可我自己做的u-boot怎么就不行呢?
